3 Things Every Workplace Needs – It goes without saying that every workplace needs all of the items in place to ensure that people can do their jobs, so when it comes to 3 things that every workplace needs we’re not talking about office chairs, nice desks and broadband. Instead, we want to think outside of the box and ensure that your place of work does everything it can to meet the needs of employees; and make sure everyone is as happy as possible – so here are 3 things every workplace needs.

A Drinks Vending Machine
A full-on vending machine might not be possible if you only have a small workplace or kitchen area, but a decent coffee machine is a bare minimum. However, everyone in your workplace will have different likes and dislikes when it comes to drinks; so offering a vending machine is a great way to ensure that everyone’s needs are met. If you have space then a choice of hot and cold drinks would be even better, but we know that this depends massively on the size of your workforce and what space you have available.
Conference Pods
Creating areas where people can hold a small meeting or chat confidentially with another member of staff is a must for any workspace and that is where conference pods come in! The great thing about conference pods is that they come in all shapes and sizes, so no matter what space you have available or the size of meeting room you are looking to create you should be able to find a conference pod that meets your needs without too much hassle.

A Fun Rest Area
All work and no play makes your employees pretty fed up and miserable. Although the workspace is important, you should most definitely put thought and effort into the type of rest space you can create too. People want somewhere relaxing to go when they are on a break from work – so making sure the place is clean, with good facilities and pretty comfortable is a must. However, on top of that if you have room then things like a snooker table or pinball machine can make a really fun and welcome addition.
