Tips for Arranging a Baby Shower – Whether you’re planning your own baby shower or looking at arranging one for a friend it stands to reason you’re going to want everything to be perfect. A pub crawl or a night of shots probably isn’t on the agenda so here are some tips for arranging a baby shower.
Get Organised in Advance
When it comes to event planning, getting organised in advance is always the best way. By being organised and getting things arranged, you have time to be choosey and pick what you want rather than rushing because you have left it to the last minute and don’t have much choice. Being organised in the early days gives you time to rearrange things if things don’t go to plan too!
Get Everyone Involved
Speak to all of the guests and do what you can to get everyone involved – for example, could they all bring a game or something to eat to add to the table? Most people will be happy to make a contribution and what you add all of these offerings together it makes for a brilliant baby shower. Just keep tabs on what everyone is bringing so that you make sure you have a good selection of things.
Don’t Panic
The important thing is to make sure that you don’t panic – event planning is always a bit stressful and plans won’t always go to plan but the most important thing is that everyone has a good time and realistically when it comes to having fun at a party the bare minimum is needed. Have a back up plan and don’t put too much pressure on yourself, after all it’s important that you have fun too!
